Hi, I’m
Jenna Arend
Social Media Manager, Content Creator, Digital Marketer
About Me
I have been involved in content creation and social media since 2010. From using Youtube as a full-time job throughout my childhood, and being an influencer through the years before focusing on my adult career in Social + Marketing, I have been on both sides of the Social Media world.
I am based out of sunny Southern California, more specifically, Orange County.
I am very passionate in my work and believe my 14 years of experience hold true to that!
Between working in Sports, E-commerce, Jewelry, Sustainability, and CPG, my experience has proved itself.
Oh, and I have a degree from Walter Cronkite School of Journalism as well!
My story
If I told you I have over a decade of experience at the age of 24, you might be confused. Let me explain.
In 2010, as a 10 year old, I began my YouTube/Content Creator career with a group called SevenSuperGirls. Though the channel has since been deleted from YouTube, I spent seven years collaborating with a group of other young girls to create videos that were age-appropriate for 8-14 year olds. We created family-friendly skits for our young demographic. As the years went on, we began working with brands such as Justice, Roxy, Gap, FinFun Mermaid Tails, and many more. We also hosted on average 3 meet & greets a year across the United States. I was very active in helping plan these events and the coordination of brand deals and filming locations.
I then focused on making college a time to learn and grow without being in front of the camera every week. I took part in some amazing internships during this time such as:
After those experiences, I found myself with a full-time position with Modern Gents Jewelry for about a year as a content creator, before holding my current title of Community Marketing Specialist at SAMBAZON AÇAÍ!
Not to forget, I run my own Social Media platforms with a collective total of 969,000 followers across platforms where I love to share my daily life!
With a full decade of experience of the ever-changing times of social media under my belt, I am sure I can bring new insightful ideas to a company.

In my 1.5 years at SAMBAZON, I have had the opportunity to host numerous co-branded giveaways. We would partner with like-minded brands for a social and web giveaway. These giveaways would add 10k+ new emails to our email list, generate thousands of new followers and engagement, and directed traffic to our webpage
Notable brands: Hippeas, QMixers, Hu Kitchen, Murf E-Bikes, Orgain, Crunchies, KOS, Erewhon, Nuzest, Original Sprout, Midori Bikinis, California Mango, Yeti, Owen’s Mixers, FunkItWellness, Flourish Plants, Kinship Milk Tea, Hempress, Dragon Alliance Sunglasses, Kai Fragrance, Matuse, and more!

Social media growth work
sambazon açaí
modern gents
in one year by applying growth strategies and setting up giveaways and influencer content, i was able to grow sambazon’s instagram account by 10,000 followers. The accout had not grown in followers by this amount in over 2 years.
I did this by:
during my time at modern gents, 40 of my tiktoks and instagram reels exceeded 100,000 views. in terms of followership, the instagram account grew by 70,000 followers in 8 months.
the video ads i created while employed were deemed the most successful and are still used over a year after my departure.
Coastal plain league
in 3 months by creating highly engaging content, i was able to exceed expectations of the 10,000 follower goal. by the end of my summer intership, cpl’s tiktok had 54,000 followers.

Sports marketing campaign proposal
This slide deck was made in collaboration for a group project for my Sports Marketing & Campaigns class. The purpose was to create our own partnership for Footprint with another Arizona event. We decided to create a potential collaboration between Footprint and the Waste Management Phoenix Open. We presented this in front of a panel of professors and Footprint executives. Our group project and presentation was the winner for our class and we were rewarded with an A and a trip to a Suns game in the Footprint Suite.
Fun Fact: Footprint and WMO did partner together in 2022 and used some of our ideas
nhra drag racing
For my high school senior project during 2017-2018, I interned with the nhra and got to create this promotional video. This video was published on their social accounts as a promotion.
In march and april of 2024, i got brought back into the world of drag racing by being asked to be a back up girl (the one running and lining the car up) for my childhood friend, bobby bode.
fun fact:
I grew up around drag racing, as my father, jeff arend, drives a nitro funny car!
houston astros application process
In early 2022, I applied for the Houston Astros' Social Media Apprentice position. After five interviews, I was asked to create a project that followed their guidelines. This is the project that I turned in and received great feedback from.
I was not chosen for the position, but I learned a lot throughout the process. I met so many amazing employees of the Houston Astros.
I was really fortunate for this opportunity and I am proud of the slide deck that I created so I wanted to showcase it here on my portfolio. I really enjoyed using my graphic design skills, as well as knowledge I have in the social media industry.
